9^th – 13^th July 2026

This year’s Musica Orbis Prague Festival will take place in beautiful halls in the centre of Prague. The festival is open to all non-professional choirs and orchestras from all over the world.

Terms and conditions

• competition and non-competition categories
• free repertoire in categories A, E
• for choirs time limit 15 minutes (including arrival and departure)
• for orchestras time limit 25 minutes

CHORAL COMPETITON CATEGORIES:
Category A – Unrestricted repertoire
A1 –  Children’s Choirs (up to 16 years of age*)
A2 – Mixed Adult Choirs
A3 – Female Adult Choirs
A4 – Male Adult Choirs
A5 – Chamber Choirs
A6 – Youth Choirs A7 – Senior Choirs
Category B – Sacred music
B1 –  Children’s Choirs (up to 16 years of age*)
B2 – Mixed Adult Choirs
B3 – Female Adult Choirs
B4 – Male Adult Choirs
B5 – Chamber Choirs (9 – 24 singers)
B6 – Youth Choirs (up to 21 years) B7 – Senior Choirs

* 10 % of choristers may be older than 16 but not older than 18 years of age.
