Twice a year, Musica Orbis Festivals opens the gates of magical Prague to choirs and orchestras from around the world. We are not just a competition, we are a place where music becomes a shared experience and strangers become friends.
Every ensemble receives care tailored to its needs. We arrange accommodation, meals and transport, secure rehearsal spaces and a smooth run of every performance, and help with programming and instrument logistics. You focus on the music, we take care of the rest. That is exactly why participants remember our festivals for their warm and friendly atmosphere, personal approach and careful organization.
The most powerful moment is rarely the competition itself, but the moment when ensembles from different countries stand side by side and sing together. Our participants remember singing together in St. Vitus Cathedral and outside the Church of St. Ludmila, meeting musicians they would never have crossed paths with otherwise, and the feeling of belonging to one large international family.
We warmly invite you to share your music in the most beautiful concert halls and historic venues of Prague. Since 2019, more than 60 choirs and 1,800 musicians from across Europe and America have sung and played at our festivals in extraordinary places such as the Church of St. Simon and St. Jude, the Czech Museum of Music and St. Vitus Cathedral.

The festival jury is made up of renowned international choir masters and conductors who are ready to listen, evaluate and share their valuable insights to help your ensemble grow.
Every performance is assessed by the jury according to clear criteria, including intonation, blend and tone colour, technical precision, the choice and difficulty of the programme, and overall artistic impression. Based on their scores, ensembles are placed in the gold, silver or bronze band, and the finest ensembles receive the prestigious Grand Prix awards and a range of special jury prizes.
But the evaluation does not end with the results sheet. Every ensemble receives written feedback from the jury, specific and constructive insights you can take back to your own rehearsals. It is precisely this feedback that turns taking part in the festival into not just a competition, but a genuine opportunity for artistic growth.
We believe that meeting an international jury and gaining its expert perspective is one of the most valuable things you will take home from Prague.
