Twice a year, Musica Orbis Festivals organizes an international festival and competition for choirs and orchestras in Prague, bringing together amateur and semi-professional ensembles from around the world for a unique musical experience in the heart of Europe. These international choral and orchestral festivals in Prague are among the most sought-after, high-level events, offering participants a combination of concerts, competition, and cultural discovery.
Each year features two main formats: the Musica Orbis Prague Choral & Orchestral Festival, traditionally held at the beginning of summer, and the Musica Orbis Gloria Choral & Orchestral Festival, taking place in autumn and spring. In 2026, the festival will be held on 9–13 July 2026, followed by the autumn edition on 30 October – 1 November 2026. Dates for 2027 have already been announced: 2–4 April 2027 and 1–5 July 2027. Both festivals are open to choirs and orchestras from around the world seeking a high-quality and welcoming platform to present their repertoire.
Musica Orbis Festivals are known for their friendly atmosphere, personal approach, and precise organization. The festival creates an environment where every ensemble feels welcomed and supported, as confirmed by long-term participant experience and consistent international attendance. This is not just another tour — it is an opportunity to perform, grow, and experience the authentic musical atmosphere of historic Prague.
Whether you sing in a choir or play in an orchestra, we invite you to share your music in prestigious concert halls and historic venues such as the Church of St. Simon and St. Jude, the Czech Museum of Music, or St. Vitus Cathedral. Since 2019, more than 60 choirs and 1,800 musicians from Europe and the Americas have participated in the festival, confirming its growing significance.
Perform on prestigious stages, connect with musicians from around the world, and become part of a vibrant international music community. Prague provides the setting — Musica Orbis Festivals create the experience.
