What our festival offers for orchestras
Prague, historic halls, and an audience hanging on your every note. And behind you, a team that has already sorted out everything else. At the Musica Orbis Prague (1 to 5 July 2027) and Musica Orbis Gloria (2 to 4 April 2027) festivals we do more than put on concerts. We take on the full organisational load so that the conductor and the players can focus purely on the music.
Because every orchestra arrives with different instrumentation, a different programme and different needs, we do not work from templates. Everything below works as a tailor made package, and the range and exact form of the services always depend on the package you choose. You select precisely what you need and we build a solution tailored to your ensemble.
Accommodation and transport
We can arrange accommodation to match the size of your ensemble and what you have in mind, from student capacities to more comfortable options for professional bodies. We take care of all your transport around the programme, whether it is transfers between your accommodation, rehearsal spaces and concert halls, pickups from the airport or station, journeys between cities, or transport for excursions and the accompanying programme.
Instrument and equipment rental
Not everything can travel across Europe, and it does not have to. We are able to arrange rental of any instruments you need. Double basses, cellos, a harp, a full percussion section including timpani and orchestral percussion, tuning, a harpsichord, and less common instruments on request. We can also supply music stands, chairs, risers on request, a conductor's podium and other stage equipment according to your instrumentation and seating. Just send us a list and you arrive to a stage that is ready.
Concert halls and rehearsal spaces
If you need more preparation time, we can arrange extra rehearsals beyond the standard schedule. Acoustics, capacity and technical facilities are all sorted in advance, so you meet no surprises on arrival, only good conditions for a great performance.
Production, logistics and dramaturgy
Behind all of this stands a production team that keeps the threads together. We build a realistic timeline, connect the parts of your programme and watch the transitions so the day runs smoothly. We coordinate with venues, suppliers and you, giving you a single point of contact for everything the festival involves. No scattered email threads, no grey areas, just the assurance that everything is running.
